Meet Jan

A passion for education, travel—and Champagne, of course!—inspired Sommelier Jan Bugher to launch Jampagne All Day Wine Events, Education & Travel in early 2025. With years of experience in the wine and restaurant industry, Jan brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Jampagne All Day offers a wide range of wine-related services, including private wine dinners, wine education classes, corporate wine events, wine list consultation, and curated wine travel experiences.

Jan is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and a proud member of the Guild of Sommeliers. She is also a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators and holds the title of French Wine Scholar through the Wine Scholar Guild, where she is currently pursuing the prestigious Master of Champagne certification.

Her extensive experience spans creating and managing wine lists, wine purchasing, working the floor as a Sommelier to assist guests with wine selection and service, staff training, overseeing wine locker programs, and hosting both virtual and in-person wine classes and events.

Jan holds a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University and a Beverage Management Certificate from Purdue University.
